It’s official – the Fall 2019 Rising Stargirls “Universe: More Than Meets the Eye” workshop has wrapped up online via Zoom! This program is create for middle-school girls (grades 6-8) from groups traditionally underrepresented in the sciences and explores constellation in the night sky, planets in and outside of our solar system, and the unseen mysteries of the universe. We used writing, visual art, and theater games to process what we learnt and discovered.
Many of the girls were so excited to learn about astronomy & astrobiology, bringing their enthusiasm and creative ideas with their open minds and wonderful sense of adventure!
